The Midland Curling Club Day League kicked off its Interclub bonspiel season with a lively event on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Sponsored by Chartwell Tiffen Retirement Residence, the bonspiel welcomed 42 enthusiastic curlers from the Midland, Penetang, Coldwater, and Elmvale Curling Clubs.
After a morning of friendly but competitive curling, participants enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Feast Catering. The games were close, but the top honors went to the team of Peter Mulroy, Russ Madore, Dave Armstrong, Carol Hackney, and Hugh Loughborough.
A special shoutout goes to Joe, our inspiring 97-year-old curler, whose team finished a strong fourth. Joe’s passion for the sport proves that curling truly is for all ages!
